Statement of Faith
I believe God is one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ is God in the flesh, who died, was buried, and rose again to save souls from hell, and that his death, burial, and resurrection is the gospel.
1 Timothy 3:16“And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
1 Corinthians 15:3–4“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures.”
I believe the King James Bible is the perfect and divinely preserved word of God. I believe every word was divinely inspired and it is the only perfectly preserved word of God in the English language.
I believe the King James Bible should be taken literally, unless the text itself makes a literal reading impossible.
Psalms 12:6“The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.”
I believe that you cannot work your way to Heaven.
Ephesians 2:8–9“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”
Titus 3:5“Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;”
I believe Jesus Christ purposely shed his blood alongside dying, being buried, and rising again to save souls, and that this is received by believing with the heart and calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you.
Romans 3:25“Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;”
I believe that Jesus Christ’s death, burial, resurrection, and blood atonement can only be received by believing with the heart and confessing with the mouth, calling upon the Lord Jesus Christ to save you. It should be clarified I do not believe a sinner has to know about the exact specifics of the blood, outside of the death, burial and resurrection (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
Romans 10:9–13“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
I believe that God expects any able person to do what God tells them in Romans 10 and their response affects their respective eternity.
I believe God gives exemptions for the mentally impaired and mute, however that these do not form the rule for the able 99%.
I believe that water baptism is a purely symbolic action.
I believe that once a soul is saved, they are always saved and forever saved. No matter what the soul does or is done to them.
Romans 8:38–39“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
I believe that no matter what a person has done, as long as they are living, they can accept God's gift of salvation. No pit is too deep.
I believe in a pre-tribulation rapture.
1 Thessalonians 4:16–17“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”
I believe in a strict seven year tribulation.
I believe the Genesis 12 Abrahamic covenant is unconditional, and that God’s promises to Jews are strictly to Jews.
Romans 11:29“For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.”
I believe that God blesses and curses nations for how they treat Jews and Israel.
Genesis 12:3“And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
I believe that Israel should have the Genesis 15 borders.
I believe that a church should be strictly independent without any overarching group or diocese to control them.
This statement of faith reflects my views specifically.
